A week back, I saw this thread describing charjohncarter's developing method for TriX. I gave it a try with my next couple rolls and these are the results.
I didn't get as nice results as he gets but this may improve with practice. I found my negs slightly more dense and difficult to scan compared to my previous straight HC110-H and grain was more pronounced. However the was a "luminous" quality that was not there before so I will continue to work with this combo to try to optimize in my workflow.
My thanks to charjohncarter for his detailed explanation. Also for others who use this combination, any comparisons of changing the ratio of HC110:Rodinal available as a starting point before I try different combos myself?

I'd say it was a success. The grain is pretty big, but I like that sort of thing.
