Thanks! The irony here is that I was doing this style of color photo before I was familiar with Eggleston! After seeing his work I quit shooting this way since I thought it looked derivative but now that I think about it I might just start doing this style again!

eggleston's red ceiling with lightbulb shot - not the tricycle shot - was a seminal find for me in the mid-1970s. i hated it at first, but couldn't stop thinking about; then i accepted it, and was inspired by it.

Frankly if some of these shots were presented to me as Eggleston's work, I wouldn't have doubted it.

Paul, I know that shot and was mesmerized by it from the first time I saw it. It is weird, simplistic, yet geometrically satisfying.
