Are you interested in the new Voigtlander 75mm f1.8 in Canon or Nikon mount? It seems like it's the same as their M mount version, is this possible?

The other lens to conisder is the 90mm 3.5, and to be honest I was sort of hoping they would release something more like a 28mm.

Judging from the 40mm f2 Ultron, it should be a fantastic little prime at sub Zeiss prices.

Actually what I'd really love to see would be more cheap slow primes ala the rangefinder line. A 28mm 2.5, or a 25mm f4. The fast lenses are nice but the 20mm 3.5 is not that much cheaper than the 17-40 L.

I do want the older Voigt in M mount (the size is really nice) but would probably not want the 1.8 in a Nikon mount - I have the 85mm f/1.8 AF Nikkor and am very pleased with it. I see no reason to ditch it.

Is there a guide to CV lenses in EF mounts?

Well our bartender this on the newer SL II lenses, and this on the older SL lenses. The older SL lenses mostly weren't available in EF mount, though (the only one that was made for Canon was the 125/f2.5 macro lens I think).

I will be interested if it's a good lens - meaning if it brings something to the table that a canon 85mm f1.8 or zeiss 85mm f1.4 can't.

I would have been into the whole SL II line for my Canon Elan 7N, but they are not releasing the 58/1.4 in EOS mount. A shame as 20/40/58 (and now 75 and 90) would make for an interesting kit.
