I have a problem with my Leica M6 TTL. The spacing between the frames is uneven and some of them are over lapping.
Something is obviously faulty with the camera, but what is actually causing it?

Overlapping is sometimes merely a matter of a stuck rewind button or lever - first of all check that the rewind freewheeling of the transport sprocket disengages after rewinding. If it does not, check whether it is obstructed by dried grease or gummed up light seals. If you can't get at it, it is CLA time.

If the sprocket works but you have overlaps nonetheless, it is time for a service - that is somewhat more serious, as the forces in the drive train are big enough that a de-synchronisation there will usually wear out or damage the camera rapidly.

I had problems with over-lapping prints and it was the fault of the people doing the processing. They didn't check the pictures on their screen before printing them. But if you're doing your own developing etc., you're probably right about the camera.

I have just carefully loaded another film which I will expose and process tomorrow, if it's still doing the same, where in the UK can I send it for servicing?

I have seen this before with stuck rewind lever's, and actually another time with my m4-p when a friend shot it.. He would shoot in a way that applied pressure on the rewind lever while advancing the film :)
