So I just checked out today's paper.
On the same page, a photo taken with a Leica M9, right beside an ad for a Leica S2.
Who said Leica's dead.

That accident looks pretty nasty... did they drive off the bridge?
I was in a frontal collision/rollover this past summer, airbags didn't go off so my girlfriend broke her arm and I hit my face on the steering wheel pretty hard. Her arm is all healed up now, and I was fine. My eye socket (made of steel, apparently) bent the steering wheel back at a 45 degree angle, the doctor said I should have gotten a skull fracture but didn't. There's a first time for everything, I guess.
Stay safe and slow down, everyone!

The accident photo is phenomenal ~ sorry about the victims ~ and it is so strange to see that they are advertising such an expensive camera to Wall Street Journal readers (although it makes more sense to do prints there than anyplace else).
But the photo looks like Jeff Wall or Gregory Crewdson... it's beautiful and strange.

I work on Wall St. Those, that I work with who would want this camera, cannot afford it. Those that I work with, that can afford it, would never buy it. However, I guess they don't need to sell many of them... I'm sure there are still some very wealthy people around here. Perhaps the guy who drives around in his Bently at lunch time playing loud music (making sure everyone sees him) with the plates that say "BIG CLSR" would buy one just for the hell of it. :bang:
