Nice looking camera and nice first shot. Reminds me a bit of what is purported to be W. Eugene Smith's first photo after he recovered from some serious wounds in WWII, Walk to Paradise Garden... http://www.masters-of-photography.com/S/smith/smith_children_walking_full.html Enjoy the travels with the camera!

I used the same model Rolleiflex for years until I dropped it in a parking lot and damaged it beyond worthwhile repair. Sigh. It's great camera! Congratulations!

Nice Rollei and a great shot! I see you are developing in Spur HRX-3. It's said to be the lowest grain developer available. What are your own experiences when comparing Spur HRX-3 to Xtol for example?

Thank you very much for the encouragement everyone! I chose this model after reading everyone's recommendations and experiences on this forum, so thank you!
Hi Mablo, I've only just started using Spur and I'm pleased so far. Much finer grain with it than with HC-110 which I used previously. My only concern with Spur was the short developing times with Delta (just under 5 min at 20 deg C) with me in a manual tank 1+19 dilution. I'm sorry I've never used XTOL because the shelf-life is too short for me out here in the Caribbean.
This German couple uses Spur developer I believe so you can see what it might look like. Not everybody's cup of tea re: cold and clinical look.

I love my MX-EVS. I've got the Tessar lens instead of the Xenar. Is there really that much difference between the two?

Great image Snowbuzz! Love the perspective. I started using Mamiya TLRs in the 70s and always lusted after a Rolleiflex. I finally purchased an MX-EVS Tessar for a great price (cleaning marks on the lens), but even with that issue I still was able to get great images. I sold that first Type 2 series MX-EVS for a Type 1 Xenar. I love it. I recently had the opportunity to purchase a 2.8F Planar. All I can say is wow! I like the whole waist level stealth thing. It worked well for Vivian Maier. Here are my current TLRs:

Actually, if your model was turned 120 degrees to the left, I would like yours better. Of course, more fameous one seems to be modeled on Hansel and Gretel so has some history behind it.
