Probably used by more pros than any other camera. For some reason lately, people have been giving them to me. I have 5 now with scores of lenses. Should I sell them at very fair prices or what?😕😕

I would love an inexpensive backup to the one I recently bought. It's become my primary camera since I discovered Nikon last December.

I had three beautiful F2s. I gave one to a photography student who held on to it for a while then dumped it off at a thrift store.
He was told by his instructor that digital was the way of the future, and film, particularly 35mm film, was just a little ludicrous for this day and age.
Make sure the person you give a camera to someone appreciates it. When you sell it to someone you can be sure they DO appreciate it.

I was given a perfect F70 the other day with a couple of Nikkor AF zooms ... should I go back & ask if they have an F2? 😀

check with the local colleges or even high school. I'm always picking up cameras that can be used by the film class students (still taught here). My friend(the instructor) sends them my way...the cameras are given to them with only one string....they have to use it...I run across those former students and they still remember the gift of a camera....most of the kids are Native American and very talented....I'm sure you can find someone in need...just sharing . Ha, I was given an F2 as well. Unfortunately mine literally fell at one point and has enough of a dent near the winding lever that it probably shouldn't be used until the top is replaced.

Hmmm... Al Kaplan's favorite college (Barry) is near you, and I bet they have a number of students anxious to learn film photography! Might be worth it to get at least one to a deserving student.😉

I was given a box of Nikon stuff...in it was a chrome F2 w/DP-1, the MD-2 & MB-1...a Nikon N2020 and some lenses all non Ai...28mm, 50mm, 135mm & a 300mm...

I'd be terribly disappointed if someone did that to a camera I'd given to them. Actually, I'd make it a term of the "gift" - you can't part with it without giving me first crack at having it back.

If you want to donate them to a college where they will be used every semester, get in touch with me. My students mostly prefer film. Digital may be the future but mostly the students are bored by it. The problem now is getting the cameras. I used to require them to buy one, but you can barely buy a film camera used anymore. Now I try to amass enough for the whole class and lend them out. They don't know how to go about buying a film camera used, and when they do it's often got something wrong with it.

If they work properly and are in good condition you should sell them to users.
If you're crafty and they are in bad condition you should re-skin them with various materials and sell them to hipsters.

You could get one more F2, then equip them all with 35mm lenses; mount them in a circle; fit them with a 6-way cable release; and take 360 degree panoramas. (First thing that occurred to my warped mind.)
