Great photography sir...

Monument Valley is like a beautiful woman classic and timeless...one of the most fascinating geographical subjects on Earth IMO.

Great pictures. Also the Navajo are a beautiful people with a very strong spiritual connection to the land, the water and the air around them. This reverence for their environment suffuses their art and you can see why when you experience their magnificent tribal lands.

Wonderful colours and great shots.

Very Australian colours I agree.

Very cool. One place I have wanted to visit for the last couple of years.

It's out-of-the-way. How did you get there? Before the drive, what was the closest airport you flew into?

We actually started out from Grand Junction via Moab and the Arches National Park (more photos to follow) then down to Kayenta where we spent the night before heading out to the Monument Park to spend the morning.

We then drove hard for a night at Springdale near the Zion National park for the next day.

Our trip can be seen here

the southwestern area of the states is truly a nature marvel, so many gorgeous national parks.. made a trip there with family in 96, worth going back when possible!

I just got back from a 4 day trip to this very area. I did a bit of backcountry camping with my gf. Nice shots. I will have some once I process my film...

Can't wait to see them. Busily developing some films too :) Could have spent many more days there than we did on our whirlwind tour.
