Elk hunting in Kentucky?

Never heard of it, but my son just won a lottery for a tag to hunt Elk in Kentucky...go figure!😛

Anyone here know anything about how to plan for such a hunt? He is a very busy person these days and asked me to find out what I can as he needs to contact private property owners, plan the hunt, etc. all between now and October.🙂

Wish he would apply for tickets to The Masters and the Georgia Lottery whilst he is in a lucky mode....
