You know- I use my empty cannisters for storage, and also use the lid as rear lens caps for J-3's and J-8's. Use an exacto knife to remove the inner lip, acts as a push on lens cap over the RF Cam.
I have instructions in an old Photography magazine for making the plastic Kodak cannisters into a digital darkroom timer.
A million and one uses.

Is that just some sort of watch/clock transplant or something. Or do I sense something very clever... Also, if you are looking for free film canisters, sometimes the year 10 work experience guy behind the photo counter type thing will give them to you

Well spotted larky.
What I don't get is that 10 white pots are £55.55 but he' s also selling 14 pots (mix of 4 black and ten white ) at £19.99

I'll look for the old article- For many years, Pop (or Modern?) Photography would feature some "what to do with those Film Cannisters" short little articles. One of them used an LED, 555 Timer, switch, etc to make a Timer for use in the Dark Room.

I don't see what you are talking about. That's £5.55, not £55.55, in the link that the OP posted. Even so, that's a lot of dough for something most people throw away or recycle.

Must have changed it, it stated £55.55 originally.

The seller has changed the prices - do you think he's watching us?
