It's all about the gear, the bling, isn't it ?! I was hoping to see some of his actual photos on this thread since that's what photography is all about, or did I miss something? Maybe he doesn't take any photos. Actually I don't even know who he is...that dates me...LOL (^O^)

IMHO, a lot of the comments expressed here are irrelevant. Also, a lot of people love to talk smack so don't believe everything you hear.

Please understand that due to his profile, a lot of his images are very intimate and not to be shared but if you look at the slideshow he showed on 09/09/09 you will get a glimpse of some of it.

He has done fantastic work not only of his beautiful family but also from other subject matters that are fit to be in a book. I've expressed this to him many times before and tried to push him to release a book of his personal work but the man is so humble that he wants to continue refining his craft as a photographer before taking the next step. He is also a huge film lover and shoots a lot of it, sometimes that is all he carries on long trips.

Thanks for that post ......very informative.....I figured that the guy has some fantastic photos of his family and other subject matters as well.........hope one day I can check out his work in a book if he ever decides to put one out......

Is all the hostility because he gets Leica gear for free? Bottom line is that the man is probably photographed incessantly by the paparazzi and if he is sporting a Leica then it's free advertising. Seems like this sort of arrangement really ruffles some people's feathers when in reality he is working and completing his end of the bargain.

Secondly, what does it matter if he's a "good" photographer? And who is qualified to judge this anyway? Should he show be forced to prove his work is acceptabl in order to validate the free pieces of gear he's gotten. I think it's proven the man loves to shoot and does so a lot.

The sour grapes in this thread are rather distasteful IMO.
 
He's famous, he married a super model, he gets free top-end Leica gear. Instead of being happy for his good fortune, some (small) people just got to hate. Sour grapes.
