fed 5b buggered shutter speed settings

h all, looks like i managed to screw up the speed setting somehow. :bang: the first 2 rolls through the camera everything was fine and finally got to try a 3rd roll. What is happening is when i set the speed it may fire at the shown speed or it may fire at another speed. Sometimes its much slower some faster and never consistent. 🙁 Guess what I'm wanting to know is how much of a PITA to fix or just chuck the body and get another body?

Standard question: Did you change the shutter speed before winding on? Is there any chance that might have happened?

Diagnostic question: when you say "it may fire at the shown speed or it may fire at another speed. Sometimes its much slower some faster and never consistent", do you mean that if you leave the shutter speed dial alone, not changing it, every time you fire the shutter you get a different result?

cold kennel , I think i may have turned the dial before cocking once on the first roll and if I set the dial at 1/250 it will fire at 1/250 , 1/500 or anything from b to1/125 with no way of telling which untill the shutter is fired.

ok after playing with it some more it's just slow speeds 1/15 and slower that are messed up .heck really wasn't going to use theas my gsn does th slow speeds on it anyway since my gsn does low light and slow very nicely.
