M8s and M9s

It's funny that people who never owned an M8/8.2 complain about them still. Not so much here but rather on another forum I visit. Life is too short to complain about anything other than weather and taxes :D

The future of film.
The cost of film.
The availability of film.
The availability and cost of film processing.
Handling and disposal of film processing chemicals.
Water spots and negative curling.
The hassle of scanning film.
Newton rings.
Airport security ruining film.
How Epson screwed up the marketing, and support of the RD-1. (A.K.A. where's the RD-2?)
If only C-V would sell a digital rangefinder. What's wrong with them?
If only Leica would sell a digital M. What's wrong with them?

This list could be even longer Willie!

What lens should I take on my vacation?
Black or chrome?
Which 50?
Etc., etc., etc........

Well, for a while, the Zeiss Ikon rangefinder was good for a lot of kvetching about this, that, and the other. Notice the sites have gotten considerably quieter about this camera....now that everyone figured out it 's a pretty good camera, I guess...

Seems to be a pattern when a new camera comes out--there's a chorus of people who immediately cry "It sucks! It sucks! It sucks because....!"

Wonder what we would have heard had the Internet been around when he Leica M3 came out? Or when the Nikon F came out?
