I wonder if anyone here uses a Canon 7.5mm circular fisheye lens.

In particular, do you find the lens sharp or not?

Think Different
I dug up my old Canon F-1 book, written by the late Geoffrey Crawley back in the early 1970's. He tested several FD lenses including the 7.5mm fisheye. His comments, "From the optical point of view, the image quality given was of high order, showing excellent contrast and sharpness of detail across the field."........"high resolving power cannot be expected from this type of lens but the design achieved excellent contrast......"......."The review sample image circle proved not to be accurately centered in the picture gate, so that the lower part of the circle---the top of the picture---was cut off."
I guess you have to take his comments for the era it was written, circa 1971. Maybe today's fisheye standards are different.
I did try this lens once about 35 years ago. Only took a few shots, mostly just fun stuff. I remember thinking that sharpness was OK, but not great.

Thanks for the checking, Jim.
I am using the lens with the EP-2, and maybe the digital imaging adds another layer of challenges to this lens design? Somehow, and when compared to images by Zeiss and Leica normal lenses, I see the images by the 7.5mm lens as soft. I used the lens only indoors with the EP-2, so at 5.6 wide open.
