i was given (thank you!) the use of a collapsible m-mount elmar 90/4. of course, it fits beautifully as extended.

I just acquired a beautiful 90/4 collapsible Elmar. For qualms & calms I put it on an M4, extended, then put the shutter to "B" and tripped it & held it open. At this point I slooowly pushed the lens in. It cleared the curtain by 3-4 millimeters, easily.
I had to pre-start the collapsing thing so I could do it one-handed. That, or face down on a table.
I have an R2 and that was then next one I was going to try. Hope this helps - alfredian
