Sam I Am
Short story, I'm an idiot.
Longer story, I decided to use my 50 Elmar-m on the M5 and carelessly collapsed the lens. Now the metering arm is kind of bent, slightly scrapes the side of the mount and doesn't flip up or down anymore. Meter was working beautifully before and it was one of my favorite bodies to shoot with. Just a dumb mistake really and I'll be taping my lenses in the future.
For repair it seems like DAG doesn't work on them anymore, and I'm a bit leery on using Sherry based on feedback (and cost is pretty high). Who is currently working on M5's these days in the US that doesn't have a months-long backlog?
