Great shot, that's one heck of a sky!
BTW: what's the story on that 'golf cart' ??

This is from the first few non-test rolls I've put through my recently acquired 6x7. I only have one lens so far, an older SMC Takumar 75mm f/4.5, and while sometimes I'd really like something a little longer, it's an outstanding lens for walking around if you can only take one lens with you.

That 75mm is a fine lens, it's got a nice FoV for general shooting. I think it's actually better suited as an all purpose lens than the 90mm

You seem to get a little more breathing room.

Great picture, Chris. I've been debating the next focal length to get, and I want something longer. How do you like the 150mm? I can see some vignetting and a tiny bit of barrel distortion perhaps, but neither is offensive to my eye.
Great scan, too. I hate scanning color slides so much, and I've been debating sending off my last few rolls of developed but unscanned Kodachrome to Precision and let them deal with it. The stuff I've seen from them posted on RFF certainly makes a convincing argument.
The good scans from PCV and NCPS is why I started shooting film again. I don't have the time to scan them myself.
I like the 150 quite a bit. I like that it opens up to f/2.8. I also have a 135mm which I like for the close focus ability, and a 200mm f/4. Here is an example from the 200mm.
The Point Arena Lighthouse, Mendocino County, California
Pentax 6x7, Super-Multi-Coasted Takumar/6x7 200mm f/4, Fujichrome Astia 100 (220), Skylight 1B filter, tripod, PCV scan

It's a Coco Taxi, a fairly dangerous, but ultimately cheap way of getting around Havana.Great shot, that's one heck of a sky!

By the way, the first shot is of Eyjafjallajökull, in Iceland.

You people do this camera a fine service. I just lost half an hour to an *bay session looking for one of these beauties. It's one of those cameras where the more brass is showing, the better it looks.
Might see if anyone is interested in a trade for my Rittreck 6x6 with 80/2...

Thanks guys, the float plane was in Mount Desert Island in Maine. 6am on a foggy morning.
Now there's a fun camera I've never heard of (but I know the Norita). I'm hoping to step up to a Mamiya 7 in a month or two, so if you decide you want to do it then, you have a deal!

I'm waiting in the mail for a Pentax 6x7 and a 105/2.4 Takumar. Was a real good deal for me and I'm very excited because at least I could shot 6x7 format which I like the most.
