No surprises: it sold for $860 again. I am going for it when it shows up a third time. 🙂
I'm quite sure it will show up at third time !

There is also an FL mpount SLR version of this lens that is designed to be used with the mirror locked up and using an accessory finder. It looks as if its got the same optical arrangement as it has simialr deeply prtruding rear elements. This llens used to go for much less on eBay as Canon SLR mount was not really compatible with any digital cameras. Not sure now that micro 4/3 mounts are available. But I was tempted on a few occasions to buy one and use it on my M mount cameras (Canon Fl/FD mount adaters are available). It could be a cheaper way of getting a nice classic super wide lens.
another 19mm canon on the bay.
but limited to US citizens with no questions possible. This is silly.
I got my 19mm five years ago here in South Africa for the equivalent of US$450. This included the original leather case with finder in it, plus front and rear caps and a UV. I added a Canon B adpter (FL to LTM) plus am LTM to M ring, and it looks stunning on my M3. Performancewise, it compares very well with a 3,4 Super Angulon, although the contrast is a tad less biting and the vignetting is much better. In the words of Sean Reid it is a classic "sunny day lens", at its best in bright light -- with an excellent dynamic range (good for slides). I am veryhappy with it and will never sell...
😱It's really a fantastic deal indeed~!!! Can't believe it...... Wish i can find one and the price is the same to you. Oh,,,,Maybe i am dreaming.......:bang:I bought mine for $450 with case and finder, used it on my Leicas for years. Love it, Love it, Love it. I have no reason to want a Super Angulon.
Kevin,
You have quite an amazing Canon collection, there.
Very nice 🙂
