Canon LTM Canon RF 19mm 3.5 with finder and case on ebay

Canon M39 M39 screw mount bodies/lenses
The pictures were not good, it's hard to tell. I wouldn't have risked it, my FL version focuses to 0.5 meters, and has a scalloped silver ring as part of the FL breechlock. But there may be different versions?

I don't know.
The images on the Canon museum seem to indicate that it was indeed the LTM version, not the FL versions. They are pretty distinctive lenses.

Also the winning bidder was the first bidder too.
It seems this person had ample time to verify the lens with the seller (although I would think that the seller would have posted the dialog).
Hmmm, forget my logic...

So we'll see this listed for $2000 next week, no? :D

Well, shouldn't expect a bargain since it was posted here (No Raid, I am not blaming you :D).
$800 is way too much IMHO. However, I have seen a few complete sets in Japanese market and none of them was less than $1000.

At the price it sold for you might as well just buy from Kevin Cameras and actually get one in LTM mount.

Hello, why i think Kevin cameras' price always very high? Because i went to their website and found CANON 19mm f3.5 LTM with finder and box ask for 1800$.(They also list on ebay ask for 2000$) I don't know why you say you would like to buy one in KEVIN CAMERAs at similar price.

The one in the auction is the LTM version. This is now you can easily tell them apart.

1. Distance scale is in different position. The FL version is engraved on the focusing barrel.

2. The lens barrel is significantly shorter between aperture ring and the front of the lens for the FL version.

3. There is a grooved bayonet mount for the FL version.

4. If it includes a filter, the 58mm filter is a dead give away for the FL version.

With the above, you won't even need to ask the seller to determine if it's a Canon 19mm f/3.5 LTM. Even if the pictures are blury, you can be 100% certain of the lens.

US$860 is really cheap for this lens. Too bad I wasn't paying attention this week due to other commitments. Oh well...

Cheers,

Benny is always a good teacher and friend~ Thanks for your teaching! And yes,860 us dollars is very cheap indeed. I bought one at 1300 us dollars just few weeks before.......

Well, the seller said it had a bayonet mount, so I wouldn't put it past Canon to have mixed up the parts lines when switching from FL to LTM and back. Might be one of those rare factory hybrids, or someone switched the mount for a previous owner.

The bayonet mount is probably a LTM to M adapter. If it's screwed in tight and seller is not familiar with RF cameras, it's likely he just assume it's a native mount.

Seller's picture clear indicate that it's a RF version of the 19mm lens. The barrel is totally different between the two lens.

Cheers,

If it's cheap or not can be seen when the lens is in your hands!

860 USD is something for gambling money, dealing with people pretending "I know nothing about this artice I'm selling"...

I am very content with FL version that Mark sold me here (Thanks).
It is identical optically to the costly RF version.

Hi Raid,
Yes, I got the lens (mint), the Canon 19mm finder and the original case which holds it all. As I recall, I think I sold you the 20mm Russar finder?

Yes, you sold me the 20mm Russar finder. It works well with the 19mm lens. I also use it with the 21mm Rokkor.
