I've decided to do just one or else I must mention many because so many are so good. My single mention is from mlehrman: "Museum of art".

There were so many excellent photos this week - I had a list of 21 images to mention. Most of these have already appeared in the thread, so apart from my favourite, I'll just list those that haven't yet appeared here:
my favourite of the week:
OurManInTangier - Pie All Around. A wonderful, topical shot. There is not a single piece of space wasted in this composition. It's a feast for the eyes. Even the processing reminds me of dirty newsprint - the essence of the subject.
dazedgoneby - Kevin. I really like this portrait taken with Instant film + off camera flash
mudride - Two touching photos, and Johan's lovely tonal rendition.
På djursjukhuset med lilla Greta (little Greta at the animal hospital).
När molnen rullar förbi
ChEc - lovely to look at, particularly the framing and tonality. The running water and two figures bring it to life.
Keith - **. Great composition, and further proof of the X100's excellent IQ. Dammit.
another great shot by Keith
semrich - Saturday Night. This captures the feeling. It puts me right there, in the scene, following that couple.
Semrich - Covered Bazzar Shoppers.
sojournerphoto - on a mission. good colour capture - I agree with Alistair: it looks like a movie still
bayuwinata - Some where in Yogyakarta. Subtle, dreamy, mystical.

From what I have seen this week these are my 2 picks:
For me simply an example of good black and white.
This counts for this one also. Very moody and I like the grain.

ferider ... one of my two absolute favourites this week.
dazedgoneby ... definitely my top pick for the week. The photo sums up what the term nurture really means. I also like the alternate medium.
