Same here. I'm slowly finding my narrow few controls I like to use. Setting it up like an meterless M can be fun.
Then I just use the Fn button to change ISO.

Man Simon, your X100 stuff is every bit as good as your film work. Shows that it's not the equipment![]()
thanks Patrick!

f/2, 1/4000, ISO 1600, in-camera conversion pushed 1 stop.
I accidentally moved the shutter speed dial from A to 1/4000; thankfully, I had auto-ISO enabled, so I got ISO 1600 instead of 200.

Looks like a great little camera would pick one up if i wasn't afraid I would stop using my M9!

Actually it's a reality to look at.
My friend sold 2 M9's and 6 lenses and uses the X100.
He's very wealthy and crazy. He actually carries 2 X100's.
Why, I can't figure out.

I wouldn't mind owning both. still, I'd use my M2s and M4 more.

Hauntingly beautiful. Love this type of minimalistic nature photography. Thanks for sharing, Craig.

First keeper with the x100. The leaf shutter causes absolutely no vibration. You can handhold at ridiculously low speeds if you prop it against something.

Thanks Richard. This was a very quick handheld snap in my room. I can use 1600 without any hesitation on this camera, and MF + AFL (as one-time AF) combination is working well. I feel like I'm shooting with MF rangefinder with the initial focusing done by camera instead of me.
