A little "Justice" reference for you (if you don't know who they are and like electro music than check them out)

Another one that I'm unsure of. A DJ at a local place. What do you think? Does it convey the dance atmosphere? Just a Blurry Shot? Too Cliche?

All comments greatly appreciated

As Usual shot on Hp5+ @1600 with a 50/1.7 @ 1.7

Haha Fair Enough. Usually when I have these "not sure feelings" than it means that its not a great image.

Your comment kinda makes me think that I know the full context of the image and that adds something to it for me but that it does a poor job of conveying the full context to everyone else.

Chris.......I don't think the picture gets your message across. It looks like a blurry picture of a woman sitting in front of a laptop. It does not have a sense of motion. The blur looks like it comes from camera motion rather than her motion within the frame. I'll check out "Justice", thanks.

Thank You!

Ironhorse you're exactly right!. If it was motion blur than everything should be sharp except for the person in the image (its actually a boy but the headphone cords give the illusion of long hair. The Computer and cords and writing in the background should be sharp (as long as its in focus). In this everything is soft, making camera shake evident.

This one will hit the recycle bin but it does give me some ideas for a show my friend's band is putting. I think that a monopod, image stabilization (sadly I'll have to shoot it digital or bring a tripod) and some front syn flash should fix the camera shake problem up nicely and give some nice motion-y images.

Anyways thanks to everyone who commented (All 3 of you so far!) for making me realize this one could be improved! Lots of sites let poor images go without comments which makes it really hard to improve upon things.

P.s. if you're searching justice look up "justice vs simian" which is also called "never be alone"

it could be an interesting photo (depending on the context where you put it and personal taste) but it does not bring up the sense of music or dance. I think it could work in a serie which can give an idea of what happens, again depending on the style you like to give to the work.
robert
PS I like blurred photos, this was part of a serie.
