At a local camera shop on the weekend, I was shown a magnificent book called FLAVR, which stands for Film Lovers Analogue Visual Reference. The author had the same model sit for hours while he shot her in the same lighting conditions, with the same camera and lens, with every example of film that was available at the time.

The result is an amazing hardcopy and e-book which has every black and white, colour negative and slide film you can think of. It was astounding. Here's an example of what is in the book.

Check it out. I'm not affiliated with this project at all, just someone who was wowed by the concept and execution.

It's very interesting, thanks. I hope the project is not stalled out - apparently there is no hard copy available yet.
