New York August Meet-Up

I will drop in Sunday to say hi but probably can't stay too long as I will leave the next day for my roadtrip!

Dave,

I'll be wearing my big watch (Panerai GMT 8 day). Tung is also a watch guy BTW.

At the last meet-up Tung brought his 0.95 Noctilux, and I had the oportunity to mount it on my M6 equipt with TA Rapidwinder and TA Rapidgrip. What a comfortable rig, but it was like carrying half a bowling ball. LOL. Definately a deadly weapon.

John, I got rid of my Nokton right after the queens trip we did... traded it for another 50... just a tad late for mine..

John (SuperUJ) has one, and he'll come and help you with beer ;-)

Yes, I think I've tried John Chee's Nokton 2-3 times already. I was hoping to give him a break from bringing it. It's no big deal... I keep thinking about the lens, but never buy it. Perhaps I'll just get it over with soon.

I have the same affliction.

See you all tomorrow, I'm back from my upstate adventure.

Apologies, ladies and gentlemen. Won't be able to make it tomorrow. Wife has informed me we have an obligation with friends in Flushing at the dragon boat races in the morning, and I don't think I'll be able to make it over by the afternoon.

I can't make it either...major Tooth Problem
on 7 days of antibiotics and a semi swollen half side of face....arghhhhhhhh

not a PRETTY Picture ... :bang:...:p

Have FUN & Cheers to ALL -H

Hey Dani, Im still going, hopefully there are still ppl. Worst case, just you and me have a couple of beers... lol

Wow, a crazy meet-up... some of us were there from 12:00 until 6 or so. I didn't get waterboarded, but I did get stewed to the gills.

John is a happy drunk. I had a great time.

Fidel's street rig (0.72 M6, 28 Elmarit ASPH and Leica 28 VF'er) gassed me badly. A 28mm Leica VF'er is a must have, even though my M6 has 28 framelines.

I was able to escape without envying anyone's gear this time. I did like Andre's big-ass 90mm though.
