M2 missing take up spool

I just received my M2! All seems good except for one thing: the take up spool is missing. My search on ebay turned out nothing and this is worrying me quite a bit. Where is a good place to get one, and am I going to be spending the rest of my life trying to save up for one?

They do turn up quite regularly on ebay. I missed one a few days ago for £22 but they generally go for £50-60 ...so just keep looking

$35 seems reasonable-ish for leica. The spools in the M4, 6, 7 are non removable and thus incompatible aren't they? Are M3 spools compatible with the M2? And the M5 spool is incompatible isn't it?

M3 and M2 spools are the same.
