The best film is Tri-X. No other film is that capable and permissive... Other ISO400 films are close, but Tri-X can be exposed, depending on the light, from 100 to 1600, and it's also really forgiving, and very sharp in Rodinal.
If I'm carrying (say) five rolls of Tri-X apart from the rolls loaded in my cameras, I carry a couple of ISO100 film rolls too, to be able to shoot easily on direct sun and use wider apertures...
Except for Kodak P3200 (bought anywhere I find it far from expiration), I buy from Freestyle: most rolls in my orders are AristaPremium400 (Kodak Tri-X), and they come home with just a bit of LegacyPro100 (Fuji Acros).
