my US$1.5 LEICA...bought at 7-eleven!!

...But dude, what the heck does the mobile phone filter do?

Did you use any of the filters on your mobile phone? I'm curious to see how they turn out :p

I want one of these too. They have a capsule gallery at Toys R Us nearby so I hope they have this one!

 here they are:

Be sure they're in mint condition. Look out for the Nikon (or is it Nyekon?) with the intended flaws or black+chrome combinations. It'll fetch ridiculous amounts just for its "uniqueness" (and isn't that what professional OCD collecting is all about? :D )

Make sure you leave it in its original wrapping. Everybody else: take it out and tear that plastic apart! That's what makes the market go up.

heh, I can tell you understand how it works by those last two sentences ;D

@pink... I think these are great! Gotta have, gotta get!!

Seriously!!?

pinkarmy, is this in the US? I have to get some of these!

oh i forgot to mention: 7-Eleven in HONG KONG...
i doubt it will be for sale in other country since it is a local production.

i just saw a local toy store has a whole set for sale (for around US$12 if i remember it right)
postage shouldn't be too high since it's only small plastic pieces.
if anyone really want a set i might go check the cost.

Sadly they didn't have them here :[
I checked both Toys R Us and Loft. Neither.
I just want a couple. How much do you think it would be to ship to Thailand?

O funny! Wonder it I can bolt one of those bad boys on a Zorki?

the "filter" is just ~1cm in diameter, barely enough to fit onto a mobile phone camera lens--and you have to hand-held it (or tape it), don't think it can cover any zorki lens.
however it might fit a Ultra Wide & Slim.

i can go check. :)

however it is not possible to pick a particular "camera" because it is randomly placed in the toy capsule machine.
you may want to buy the whole set (HK$80 i believe).

...oh, the whole set comes without the capsule...just the "cameras"
(i will go to the toy store and snap a photo.)

yes, it is HK$80 for a set of 6 "classic cameras"
(the other 3 are : yashica gsn / lomo lca / leica minilux...wonder how they will be spelt)

for the postage please refer to the Hong Kong Post link.

the material is hard rubber, like those green soldiers in TOY STORY so it shouldn't be heavy. i am not good at guessing weight so you do the estimate yourself.
(i assume it could be send in a bubble-padded brown paper bag and ship as "air mail letter"...?)

BTW, the toy capsule machine of the "Classic Camera" at the 7-Eleven near my home has disappeared, i guess they relocated it to somewhere else. i have go searching.

7-Eleven in HK has fun stuff that are limited offer trinkets, some become collectables (I liked those dog cards that can be assembled into standing miniatures back in 2004 or 2006 was it?)

This year while in HK I was tempted to get the iphone skin that is a face of a Leica M, which looked REALLY nice, too bad I don't use iphones. I've not seen those in the US yet, has anyone else?

So far in NYC I've seen those thermos that looked like the long lenses, and pendant necklaces in the shapes of old cameras:

I wear them and conceal my manual cameras in my bag when I'm out :)
