Weekend Photography Plans: What are you up to?

saturday and sunday will be german camera days for me with english film: zeiss ikon 523/16 and IIIf, both loaded with hp5. i figure on using the barnack as a rangefinder for anything less than infinity ... :)

I used the Pentax Spotmatic F with the Helios 44-2 58/2 lens.
There was a dog "fest" where hundreds of dogs are shown.

Dark and dreary day here, more of that to come, and I'm stuck with only 200 and 250 loaded. I managed to fire off two exposures on the lunchtime walk with the dog.

Also went to our town library to find, unexpectedly, a photo exhibit opening. Not only was the stuff really quite good (if DSLR...), it turned out the photographer is only 18. A very talented young woman.

Heading down to Buena Vista, CO to check out fall colors. Will bring the Hassy (for shooting near the car) and the Fuji GA645Zi (for hiking). Sorry, no rangefinders this time (well, my wife will bring the little Contax G1, so I guess that sort-of counts :)).

made 7 exposures with the 523/16 today. i reckon i will finish the roll of hp5 tomorrow and develop it sunday night. about to soup a roll of 35mm hp5 ...

XA2 at the fair today with the grandkids. Finished off a roll, don't expect much from it. Waiting on another order of my photodocumentary from AdoramaPix so I can sign, number and deliver them.

Tomorrow? Probably sleep all day, this wheelchair duty is exhausting!

Moving from Minneapolis to Elmira NY this weekend might take a few pictures on the way ;)

Speaking of which, anyone in the Elmira corning area?

I don't care for [what Americans call :p] football so these Sunday afternoons in the fall are often great for quiet walks but ah well, the weather just didn't cooperate this time.

I did eventually give in to the gloom and loaded a fresh roll of Tri-X (Arista) at EI 800 for some SLR fun. Sears KS-2 with a Korean-made, no-name "Sears" 135/2.8 that's new to me. I think I got some nice snapshots at the farm stand next door, and a flock of about 20 wild turkeys that was passing through at one point. Will be a while before I finish the roll though, only got to 8 exposures.

Sounds like a good day to me!:)

^^ Yeah, it was good. Hemmed and hawed for a while though because I don't like to be "that guy with the camera." However, the neighbors are elderly and this may well be the last season that they run the apple orchard.

They have a veritable flock of children and grandchildren for help but somehow they all disappear when there's a Patriots game on :D So my wife and I often lend a hand when they're packing up.

Wondered around Seattle for an hour on Saturday between other plans. Not great weather but I managed 11 frames.

Much nicer weather today but Sunday is for catching up on the work I didn't finish Monday-Friday so no photography today. ;)
