Sent a GSN to Mr Zohu in China. He does not make a case for the GSN but sais he could if he got enough interest in it. He makes a nice half case and sells many on evil bay. Anyone besides me hav an interest in a half case? They would run about 70 bucks.

Yes, count me in as well, I've got a GTN that needs a half case! I asked him about a half case for a CC but he didn't seem interested I even offered to send the Yashica case as a template. Good luck!

Not stealing your thread, but does Mr Zhou make cases for every RF camera, if you send in a specimen? I ask because of my Ricoh 500GX.

I would favour also a Yashica CC case. It is quite easy to get a case for GSN/GT on eb*y, but cannot find any for my CC

Only asked him about the GSN case. I suppose he could make a full case, but I was interested in the half case because that is all you need when you are shooting. I keep my cameras in a bag when not shooting. If you ever heard the term "never ready" case, it was because you have to open the case and move the top part out of the way before you can even turn your camera on. Half case eliminates that but still gives some protection. Personally, I think the half case looks good on a camera too.

I just had a mail conversation with the supplier. He confirmed he could make - with a specimen body - a case for every camera. But sadly he doesn't make small series of cases. That means, regarding my more exotic Ricoh 500GX, he cannot make a small series only for me.

He ussually sells his cases in the 70 to 80 dollar range. I shipped him the GSN (it was an extra I had) so he could test it on cases he already makes. Since he does not make one already I told him I would see if there was interest in the GSN case. If enough people want one he will make it.

Why not? If he would decide to start making cases for particular model and would offer, say, very discounted or free case for owner of camera he would use to model that case (and later return to owner with case), I'm sure there would be enough people willing to send him even better camera than automatic camera of 70ies.

Count me in for 2 cases for my GSN and GTN. And also for my CCN. Have you received any update from Zhao in the meantime?
