Anti-Obama Political Graffiti in Ft. Wayne

I saw this little Obama Hope poster sticker on the back of a road sign while driving down Coliseum Boulevard in Fort Wayne, and was surprised to see how it had been defaced. Someone has put a letter D over the H in Hope, to spell Dope. They also drew Devil Horns on President Obama's head, and scrawled the word "Liar" above him.

Freedom of expression. Someone felt pretty strongly I guess. Seeing the attenuators someone was taking a chance on what must be a busy road. Nice catch, well composed.

Interesting shot, Chris. I haven't been down Coliseum in over a year so I haven't had the opportunity to see this 'work of expression'.

Hi Andy, good to see another Hoosier here! I actually took the picture a little over a year ago, in October of 2010. I'm WAY behind in scanning my film, with about 300 rolls backed up! I'm not sure if this is still there. Probably is, no one ever takes stuff like this down around here. I'll have to check next time I'm out there. I live on the southwest side of Ft. Wayne, opposite side of town, but I lived near this when I took the photo.
