M4 shutter sync off?

New to the M4 but each roll normally has one of these,

It was probably 1/30, maybe even 1/15. But I have had it at what would have been a faster shutter speed. Are the two shutters out of sync? Need adjustment? It had a CLA prior to my purchase.

Yup, needs an adjustment. Your second curtain is traveling halfway across the frame fast then is braking a bit causing your weird exposures.

Next shot on the roll was fine. Should have been a similar shutter speed.
