Filter for Voigtlander Color Skopar 50mm F2.5

Greetings!

I would like to seek the advices from the fellows here, on what filter type should I use on the Voigtlander 50mm F2.5 Color Skopar?

I am using the LH-2 hood on this lens, and I know the filter size is 39mm. However, it seems a typical 39mm UV filter rim is too thick which will obstruct attaching the LH-2 hood. Shall there be any 39mm UV filter with a thinner rim which can be used on this lens and also allows attaching the LH-2 hood? Or there is no other choice and I need to give up this idea?

I have chrome B+W, they work OK ... but I seldom need more contrast with that lens and hood

Use the classic Leitz shade 12585 on it. Fits perfectly.

I hacksawed an old IUFOO hood for 90 and 135 lenses to the righ proportions and use it on the Color-Skopar. Fits just fine!
