Hi helen,

One thing you need to do to post is to right click on the image and "open image in new tab"

You need the url to end in .jpg (http://www.rangefinderforum.com/photopost/data/500/564982-R1-10-11ABWs.jpg) <--- notice what you posted wasnt.

Right click on the image to open just the image. then do the
 
Helen, I find the easiest way to post images from the Gallery to the Gallery Picks thread is to open 2 instances of your web browser.

Have one open on the Gallery Picks thread and the other on the Gallery.

Right click on the image in the Gallery that you want to post and click on 'Copy image location' then in the reply box in the Gallery Picks thread click on the 'Insert image' icon at the top of the reply box.. A popup will open with 'http://'. Right click that and click 'Paste'

If you use the 'Go Advanced' reply box it's a bit easier to see what you are doing and also see a preview before you post. You probably already know your way around that though.
