Full frame Pentax K-3 announced.

Even if it weren't April 1st, the size of the "full-frame" mirror over the sensor looks a little disproportionate compared against other full-frame cameras.

Anyone mind comparing that image to a 35mm Pentax AF slr?

Completely fake. Just look at the text on the camera! Or the fact that the article talks about pentax's upcoming release of "full frame FA lenses", then links to reviews of stuff that's been out for decades...

Fake, which is sad.
A full-frame K5 will turn a lot of heads.

Frankly I don't know what are they waiting for, surely the full-frame sensor technology has matured by now. And they have kept their lens mount backward compatibility so well.

I guess they are as misguided as Olympus in terms of dismissing themselves out of the full-frame market. Pity.
