My wife's eyesight has gotten so bad that a Nook reader or tablet may be an answer to her being able to read books again. So, we are looking at a mint $50 used Nook (with 14 months remaining on warranty) from a Barnes and Noble employee...or, the new $139 Nook which is backlit and serves her purposes much better.
Then I got to wondering (yeah, dangerous...I know, I know). My last documentary is on AdoramaPix and allows flipping through pages. Does anyone know if either of the three tablets (Nook, Kindle, Ipad) allows for the book to viewed...or am I going to have to do something different?😕

If the Nook color tablet ($199) shows the book and allows viewing with flipping pages, then, maybe she should look at it. If not, then, I will stick with the new backlit Nook.
