unfinished roll - what do you do?

I just got some mystery bundle of P & S cameras in the mail. Surprisingly all six were very clean and in good condition. The Ricoh Myport 330 Super, and the Minolta Freedom Zoom 70 ex both still have unfinished film (24 exp)in them.

I would have to test the camera anyway, should I just finish the roll and be prepared for whatever might show up from the unknown past of the cameras? Or should I discard and put in new ones?

What would you do?

Drive out of town. Take photographs of a bridge, a culvert and a farmhouse. Discard the roll, after wiping it free of fingerprints. Then wait. Likely nothing will come of this but you never know.
