I now own my 4th Hexar (economically forced to downgrade from the Leica).
Some would argue that it's an upgrade

Thanks Helen.
I love the Hexar AF but it seems to not require much user input--- this is something I have mixed feelings about.

Here's a few snaps from the Lakers game I got to go to a couple weeks ago. Brought my Hexar AF and pushed some Legacy Pro 400 to 800.

???: Clicked/Checked out your pics on your tumblr. What developer/method are you using?

Thank you! I've been absolutely enjoying the camera. Once I understood the general controls of the camera I've found that it really stays out of your way and just let's you shoot. I did the firmware reprogramming too to add the extra features.
Sadly I can't take credit for the development right now. I don't have the provisions at home to develop, I eventually will get back into it, but for now I have a lab that I trust do the processing. They thankfully do care about film, and do a great job with the development. Every single roll I've taken to them has been perfect.

I was about to sell the Hexar, but after seeing the pictures from the last roll I shot with it, I might be keeping it, after all.

That seems to be almost commonplace, those that connect with the hexar have a hard time letting it go. I've only had mine for a few months so far but I have enjoyed the experience more than any other 35mm camera I've owned.

Parabens Wouter !
BTW, I'm after the iris button of the Hexar AF as mine lost its markings thru the years.
So if someone has a link to get one such button please let me know !
Cheers

Thank you sir, I appreciate that very much. I've been trying to get myself out of a creative funk over the past year or two and I found that one of the biggest proponents of my issue was an over-abundance of GEAR. It seemed to be all I thought about (What lens/camera to use) and it took away from the actual shooting aspect of Photography. So over the last few months I've been selling off a bit portion of my gear, only keeping what I considered to be essential and just focusing on creating images instead.
But again, Thank you
But again, Thank you
