Getting back into painting.

I also design and build audio equipment. Mostly full range acoustic horn speakers, tube amplifiers, and headphone amplifiers.

Linguistics (currently learning Romani)

Philanthropy (volunteer with the United Way)

Gardening

I also read quite a lot.

It's yachting for me - cruising and racing sailing boats is actually ahead of photgraphy

Sometimes the two can be combined though and this is one sport where a Holga comes into its own: it doesn't matter if it gets wet and salty :)

But this is my pride and joy - a modest little boat but fine for me (about the same cost as an M9 - I bought this instead)

Great stuff!

Wher to get started with this? Any links?

Thanks
Nik

Hi Nik,

The best two places to get started are the NAR (not the NRA!)

http://www.nar.org/

and TRA

http://www.tripoli.org/

In "high power" rocketry they have a saying when you certify Level 1 - "Welcome to HPR - open your wallet!" but really compared to a lot of stuff like cars and boats it's not that bad (it's not like you're out there every weekend burning huge motors!) And getting decent photos of these things at launch and in flight is certainly a challenge...

Regards,
Scott

Hey je2a3... are you the Joseph Esmilla of JE Labs fame? Love the Mondrian inspired open baffle speakers.
