David, my father is an international captain for Qantas and I forwarded this through to him. As far as I know he has forwarded it through to some of his flying friends.
As someone who has considered in the past changing careers into aviation, I find it really saddening, and also kind of shocking that a lot of the public still think flying is easy and stress free.
Either way, I thought it was really well done and more coverage on this is sorely needed.

David, With all the kudos on this site maybe you should try Kickstarter again or some other venue for the book.First time I saw these photos awhile back I knew you had a winner. Regards,Bill

Thanks Bill. I'll have to look at the Kickstarter rules.
As an aside, last time I was asked not to post about my Kickstarter project because I was asking for money. FWIW.

a really nice piece of journalism. a sad reflection on the priorities when paper shufflers and users of deleting buttons earn so much in the corporate world! the folks who make the airline, the pilots, the crew, the maintenance workers, the air traffic are seen as an obstacle to more bonuses and gratification.
The photos are close up and involved. True, you are in a privileged position, nevertheless, they are concise and clear.
In short a piece well worth looking at!
Seeing stuff like this on the internet, makes me wonder all the more about the Oscar Barnack prize where i gave a F-Minus!
Ludicrous subject choice, poor conception, limited vision and really no passion!
Look forward to more successes.
