i believe that round is where it's at...
i have said before that what i like and how i measure many things photographic is if and how it gets out of my way and a soft round strap just gets out of the way. it wraps easily around the wrist if you want to wear it that way...it wraps around the camera for putting it back into the bag and it slides around the body with such ease...so fast...
i cannot wait for my 2 longer ones to arrive.
i like how things are falling into place for me...finally satisfied with my gear, my bags and now my straps...and i wasn't even looking for straps!

Joe, I wish you'd stop talking about this strap. I have one on the way and all this talk is making the wait unbearable

Here are a couple of photos I just snapped. Thanks Joe, for turning us on to this strap! Mine is 60cm (his longest standard size). I might go for 56cm next time.

to be fair, someone else discovered this strap and mentioned it in another thread...can't remember who...i just spread the word...aka, big mouth!
i have two more on order and had them custom made a bit longer than the 60 incher.

Have you bought the strap bumpers too or is it not that useful?

did not buy them...there really isn't much to scratch the camera with except the o rings and they don't seem to touch.

Thanks
As soon as I have some extra money I'll get one for myself.
How's the shipping to Canada?

Mine arrived here in Oz today, only 10 days after it was shipped. Excellent workmanship and very comfortable. As Joe mentioned, the best part is the way it slides across the body as you bring the camera up to your eye. I ordered 48" and it is just the right length for me.
Highly recommended.
