Spiderman vs Electro

Hi guys,

Electro was Spiderman's villain that once appeared in the Marvel comic books, but it seems it is not the case in the latest movie. I heard the Yashica Electro appears often in the movie. Has anyone here already watched the movie? Does the Electro appear so often? Anyway, if they picked the Electro of Yashica deliberately, I think they've got a great sense of humor.

I just got back from watching the movie. I recognized the camera right away and thought it was pretty cool, but didn't get the electro/villain reference till I got home and thought about it.. heh, heh.

They make it look like it's an SLR, though. At some point you see the view through the viewfinder and it has a split screen in the center.

Just saw the movie this past weekend with my son, 9, and even he recognized the camera... "Dad, that's like the ones you are fixing!"

They make it look like it's an SLR, though. At some point you see the view through the viewfinder and it has a split screen in the center.

They also had the shutter sound totally wrong. It sounded a lot more like a newer SLR than the high pitched quiet Electro leaf shutter. I think it would look and sound a lot cooler if they were realistic about it.
