35mm summicron asph hood and filter

I bought a 39mm uv filter for the lens for protection. after I put it on, I can not get the square hood snap in. Does it happen for you, too?

I can get the hood on with standard B+W filters, but not for instance a B+W polarizer. I'd look into a B+W "x-pro" filter (they can be had for $25 or $38 for MRC), or the much more expensive Heliopan and Leica filters

I use the B+W F-Pro MRC filter on mine, no problems with the hood.

All B+W E39 filters go on mine and the hood is fine. I've had two of these over the years and both were like this.

Same here - my B+W E39 filters work with the hood on my 35 ASPH Cron with no issues.

I am using a 39mm Hoya UV filter. No problem with the hood either.

Add me to the list: 35mm cron asph and hood works well with B+W 010 F-Pro MRC UV.

No problem with b+w filter on my 35 asph. Not for this lens, but a cheap filter didn't work with Summar hood because the rim was too thick. I'm sticking with B+W MRC Brass filters for all of my lenses now and never had hood problem.
