Used Toyo VX125 - camera I have been drooling over for a long time. Not the Tachihara will have to go to cover at least part of the expenses.

The worst part is - I am still not sure whether I will be shooting large format in a year for now (I enjoy it, but just find too little time for it).

But anyhow - the camera is a mechanical wonder - absolutely solid and precise and still rather compact.

I am in the process of paying for a used M9. I prefer using film cameras, but we are moving to a digital age where film is a dinosaur.
Brian gave me the green light, and I went for it.

How can I convert my EPL1 that way?

i didn't convert the camera myself, but here's a good tutorial (complete with photos) on how to convert an E-PL1 yourself:

you'll just need the tools to carefully disassemble the camera + a filter (a clear glass filter for full spectrum) to replace the hot mirror with. Life Pixel sells filters for DIY conversions, but they also offer a reasonably priced conversion service.

Petri Color 35. Should be here in 2 more days. I've been searching for a "pocket" 35mm for some time now. Hopefully, this will fill my needs. Fingers crossed.

I just purchased (on a waiting list from Olympus) the new Olympus Body Cap 15mm f/8 lens. I will be using it on my Lumix GX-1 and GF-1 bodies.

It should arrive in about a month or so. Can't wait.
