Found a early view finder only Leica 1 according to the seller is a 1932, serial number is 271596 with a collapsible 50mm/f3.5 Elmar number 500273, includes a Leica case, "hotshoe" lift (where an auxillery viewfinder would go) and it seems an early turret view finder painted black. Curtains are clean and actuates nicely. Brass showing in the odd spot. All in all a nice piece. Thoughts on price? Photos to follow.

Don't know about price but the serial No is for a 1938 Standard "Model E" introduced in 1932. Looks very similar to Leica 1 "Model A" but would most likely be Chrome. Hope this helps.

Well-known
That is a standard with an uncoated Elmar. Mechanical condition is important for price. I would think somewhere between $300 and $500 depending on condition. Joe

Thanks, will keep that in mind. Think it would make a solid shooter and neat talking point. Let's see if it will come home with me...
