This was a grab shot with my LX3. I'd noticed the wet reflections off the boardwalk as I was driving and stopped to take a few photos - and then this jogger ran into the frame. I only got one chance.

another one I'm proud of. I was out for a walk and came across this patient dog waiting outside an art gallery.

and finally, this very recent photo, from one of the first rolls of film I'd processed myself for many years. I'm very happy with the end result despite, or perhaps because of, fogging the film.

I was rather pleased with this one. It's one from the 'Mist' series posted here in the Gallery.

I'm a sucker for B&W landscapes. My favorites thus far are Roland's (Ferider), Steve's (Bingley) and Lynn's (Lynnb).

I have only taken a few hundred photos ever. I use a small point and shoot camera. I am not a fine artist or a professional - nor do I want to be. I just try and capture something that people may like to look at.

I´m sure many of us wish to be there again, looking with fresh eyes at the world and not thinking about new gear.

This is becoming a great thread, keep the coming everyone !

I was thinking back over the last few years, and this one came to mind (repost) ....
