Leica M Parts

Hi all,

I was thinking of selling my small batch of Leica M parts I have,

two chrome shutter dials M2//M3
one chrome self timer lever M2/M3
one chrome depth of field screw M2/M3
and a viewfinder socket (you know where a flash or viewfinder
can go)
plus a M4 advance lever plastic tip and original M6 shutter dial
in black in worn shape.

I tried to sell them once before on ebay but no go, so want to ask
you guy your opinion on a price for this stuff.

If I'm at risk of derailing the thread, forgive me, but am I correct in my understanding that Leica isn't producing any more parts for the M2/M3, or is it just the view/rangefinder assembly? If it's just the viewing system, can the M2 be fitted the with the MP finder?

I just recently had my bad M3 viewfinder replaced with a M4 factory new viewfinder assy as I asked in Photokina the leica Solms sevice guys about a original viewfinder, as the answer was: none available, I decided to have a M4 finder installed. Now it is just GREAT ! I actually prefer the smaller view for 50mm lens as I am wearing glasses.

Some Leica M3 RF parts are no longer available, instead you can use x 0.85 parts.
Most M2s VF can be upgraded to M4-P/M6 x 0.75, except early SN bodies.
