TOP recently showed two photographs of a particular Parisian man drinking, in two different bars, a year apart, in the '70s, each brother discovering the same subject in similar settings with similar poses, and they only discovered this coincidence recently. Now they're both photographers, and they take photographs, and that guy looked like he'd seen the inside of a few other bars too, but it is a remarkable coincidence.

I know both names and have seen their work. Never even thought they were related let alone identical twins. People rarely know the faces behind the bylines.

They grew up in Fort Wayne, Indiana, and attended the same high school I did (20 years before me!). Their photography teacher, Don Goss, was still teaching there when I was in high school.
