Hello all:
Just picked up a nice c330 pro and was wondering if the older
chrome lenses will work on this newer model?
Many thanks for your expertise

Depends what you mean by work. They will fit and take pictures, but some will not cock automatically. You might have to cock them manually. This from memory many years ago, so I hope others with actual equipment will reply.

I know, for example, that the chrome 105/3.5 will work (as in auto-cock) on a 330f, but of course, it could be hit/miss.

Well-known
Most of the chrome lenses will function with the cocking mechinism. Only the very earliest don't.
There is another difference to look out for. Most of the chrome lenses don't have "blank frame prevention". The bodies rely on either the lens providing this or that the user does his homework before mounting a lens.
With the all black lenses and the later chrome lenses the release lever on the lens itself can't be pressed when the lens is uncocked. With the earlier lenses (most of the chrome lenses) the level will travel whether the lens is cocked or not. If you mount an earlier uncocked lens on a cocked body and trip the body release the shutter won't fire (it wasn't cocked) but the transport is released and the camera can then be wound even though no picture was taken. With the later lenses the body release would be blocked by the lens' refusal to let its release lever move until you manually cocked the lens.

Back in The Dark Ages (1969) I brifly owned a C220 Pro with the 105/3.5 lens. Stunning lens. Some of my best ever negatives. If that lens works properly on the C330 it is well worth finding.

Thank you all!
Thank you all!
I guess I'll stick with the later lenses especially the
blue dots as I find them
Best regards

Insufficient information
My advice is don't worry about the blue dot ness of the lens. I have lenses both with and without the magical mystical blue dot and don't see a difference. Some of the very newest of the TLR lenses, now pushing 20 years old, the 80 S, the 150 D and DS don't have the blue dot.
I'm thinking of getting multi color fingernail polish or model paint and put dots on all of my shutters. The mauve dot will be the rarest and highest cost.

I have a C330 and a C33. All my lenses work on all the bodies. This should not be an issue unless you are dealing with the very old original lenses (as was stated earlier).
