Hello, guys, me again. Finally I got my Mamiya-6 model ⅤA.My first impression of this machine was that it was not as big as I thought. I could easily put it into my chest bag. After careful inspection, this camera was in better condition than I thought. After simple cleaning and adjustment, it is ready to shoot. But there is still a problem that has not been solved, although it does not affect photography.
This model of Mamiya-6 has an automatic film stop function (I don't know if this is the correct name, I mean the machine will stop the film at the appropriate position after the film is advanced), and sadly it doesn't work properly. It can't stop the film in the right place, and I have no idea to fix or adjust it. So I come here to ask for help. Does anyone know how to repair this problem? Thanks!

The film advance system

Is it uneven / inconsistent in the frame spacing, or does it not stop at all? The bottom image seems to show quite a bit of old, congealed grease which could literally be gumming things up.
It should be …… uneven? The distance of film advance will decrease each time. When the indicator says the tenth photo, it's actually the ninth.I tried to CLA this part, but the problem still exists.

Hello everyone, after three months of hard work, I finally have time to share the follow-up.Let me first state the conclusion: the camera is in better condition than I thought. There is nothing wrong with it, I just scared myself XD. After a few rolls of film, I became more and more familiar with the operation of this camera and liked it more and more. It is indeed a classic 120 RF folder! I also bought the original lens hood and close-up lens for it. I believe it will be my main 120 camera for some time to come.1747393389679.jpg1747393389699.jpg1747388056366.jpg

And here are some photos shot by this camera.
