Fuji sent out invitations for Jan 7 announcements

no matter what comes out the announcement .....it will be another step forward for FUJI and the "X" product line. It appears there is an aggressive to move up the pace in product development as a tool to fight for market share. Also I am growing more and more interested in the "X" line as it appears more new lenses are coming and the "M" mount adaptor for manual Leica lenses makes this mirror less platform targeted toward allow old Leica owners a way to keep legendary Leica & Zeiss lenses. Looks like fun.
 
Times ago I read somewhere, unfortunately I do not remember where, that Fuji aims to become the "third" major player beside Nikon and Canon. I think they are looking for their market share in their own way not competing on price/performances against similar cameras (which would be probably very difficult) but working on their own development of innovative cameras. I'm following with interest this new development. XE1 with a wide prime and one of my Leica glass for medium tele use would be almost ideal for my needs.
